The loan periods in force for the various categories of library materials are as follows:

- The library system calculates the due date taking into account the relevant loan periods
- Only the days the Library is open count
- User's borrowing rights in any case cannot go beyond the expiry date of the library card
- Once the item falls overdue, the system starts calculating possible fines according to the different loan rules
- After 14 days (calendar days) an item has been overdue, all Library rights of the User will be suspended
The list of reference materials gives all item types which may not be borrowed (i.e. Library use only)
