Training for EUI members

Introducing to the whole EUI community the new EUI harassment policy and raising awareness on harassment

A series of training sessions is being organised for the coming months introducing to the whole EUI community the new EUI harassment policy and raising awareness on harassment, as well as designated trainings for the newly appointed confidential counsellors and internal investigators.

An online asynchronous training about the prevention of harassment will be available soon aiming at raising awareness and introducing the new harassment policy.

EUI members must complete this mandatory training. Additionally, in accordance with the new harassment policy of the EUI, confidential counsellors will be appointed within the Institute. A training was provided to them in December 2022, to prepare them for their role as trusted persons within the EUI community.

Lastly, always in accordance with the new harassment policy, internal investigators were appointed to conduct investigations linked to harassment claims. A training was delivered by a specialist in the investigation of harassment cases in international organisations. More training initiatives about gender awareness, unconscious bias, and bias in recruitment will be developed internally by the EDI Officer.
