Blogpost series on Black History
Black History Month is about making Black lives visible and constitutes the ideal occasion to tell the stories of those less well-known individuals. This blog series published on the EUIdeas blog brings together articles written by EUI researchers working on European colonialism in Africa; colonial memory and legacies; African migration and Black presence in Europe. Addressing different historical contexts, these articles provide various perspectives on past and present realities of Black, African, and Afro-descendant peoples. This series aims at providing a critical insight into history and into the colonial roots of racial inequalities.
