Susanne Wahler

Susanne Wahler was born in Schweinfurt, Germany, in 1985. She studied sociology at the  Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg where she received her diploma degree in 2010. In her diploma thesis she studied different areas of conflict within stepfamilies, particularly with regard to the role of stepfathers. 

From 2008 to 2009 she worked as a student assistant at the State Institute for Family Research at the University of Bamberg (ifb) where she took part in the project "Gesamtkonzept zur Familienbildung im Rahmen der Jugendhilfe in Bayern". She works as a research scientist and Ph.D. student in the "eduLIFE project" since April 2011.
