How to Install Managed Software
Software which is available in the ICT Service Catalogue, not present in the standard software configuration and centrally managed by ICT Service (so-called managed software) is distributed onto EUI Windows-based office desktop PCs either automatically or via the user's input. In any case, always on demand via EUI Helpdesk ticket.
If you are eligible, and depending on the software, you may be instructed to carry out the installation on your own via Windows Software Center. If this is the case, just follow these instructions:
- Hit the Windows key or press the Windows button on the bottom left of your screen
- In the search bar type "software center" followed by Enter
- A window will open showing all software you are eligible to
- If you don't see any software, make sure to be in the Application tab, which you can select form the vertical menu on the left
- Click on the software you want to install (e.g. Microsoft Teams Desktop Version) followed by a click on Install and follow on screen instructions
- PLEASE NOTE: you may need to restart your computer to finalise installation!
