To enhance mobility, flexibility, and IT security for EUI's administrative and academic staff, the ICT Service has embraced laptops as standard endpoint model across all Units.
To foster the above, working spaces have been provided with docking stations, screens, keybaord and mouse accordingly, allowing for seamless integration not only with the standard laptop, but as well with other non-standard (USB-C) Windows and Apple laptops.
While ICT Service caters for Administrative Units, each Academic Unit manages their assigned computers/docking stations on their own.
For Academic Units, non-standard computers (including Apple) can be procured via non-IT funds (lump sum, project funds, etc.).
For Administrative Units, provisioning of non-standard computers is subject to availability of funds.
