Disk Quota for Your Personal (G:), Web (W:) and Shared (H:, T:, etc.) Areas
Each EUI member who qualifies for a computing account has a specified space quota to store data. Depending on which Department/Project/Programme/Service you are based in, your Personal (G: Drive) and Shared Areas (e.g. H:, S:, T: Drives) will be stored on a particular server with the allocated quota shown below.
Personal Web Area (W: Drive) is hosted on a separate server common to all users who each have the same amount of quota. This is in addition to your Personal disk quota.
The total quota allocated is for both your G: and Shared Area(s). For instance, if you are a SPS researcher (and therefore based on RESSRV1 server), you would be allocated 10GB. This means that a total of 10GB can be used for your personal storage on G: drive AND on the shared area H: as they both reside on the same server.
If you require additional space, contact your local IT User Support detailing the quantity of space needed and justification.
Please Note: for researchers the request should orginate from their Supervisor.
